Repentece didnt port any of my characters?

I finally got around to buying Repentance but it has none of my character achievements, I had fully completed all characters up to forgotten (which is all characters in afterbirth+) but none of the progress got ported over, on top of that it doesn't even show that I have beaten Mega Satan anymore. Its like I have to completely reset all my years of progress just to even play Repentance.

Does anyone know how to fix this or should I just call it in to support and wait a month lmao.

You dont have to port it, just play on your old safe file man

You could probably download someone else's save and inject it into the file directory. I would look for an Afterbirth+ booster pack 5 100% save file of some kind and just download that.

There is no old file? If i disable repentance under dlcs I have everything back again but if I turn it back on all my progress gets reset back to practically nothing. Not sure why having repentance enabled removes my progress but I could really use some help or clarification on this.

Probably means he downloaded Repentance and didn't cross over his AB+ save to the dlc. A lot of people had this issue. The AB+ save is also still there under the Afterbirth+ files not Repentance ones. if he unclicks the repentance DLC to uninstall it. Repentance also automatically makes it's own save and saves it to Cloud. I'm even having the issue because it won't remove the Repentance save even when i turn off cloud and remove the file. The save is still there somehow and I don't know where this extra save file is coming from myself to get rid of it and allow AB+ to update it's save. In regards he might be able to see the options for this stuff himself to get his AB+ progress on Repentance.

This definitely makes sense but I wouldn't know the first thing about fixing it and I'm not about to go messing with my ab+ files and mess up my progress by accident. Is there an official fix to this or am I just kinda screwed since Repentance is just saving over my AB+ save?

Here is what you do. Find where your Isaac saves are in your steam folder, find the ones that say "AB_" at the start of the files, make a copy (just in case). Change th "AB_" to "rep_",and then remove all other "rep_" saves. Replace the old one with your new one. Your game is now transferred. Had to do this myself.

Yeah it did, I would have tried it first before responding to a 4 year old post tho lol. Glad the random 4 year old thread might have saved the day tho
