How do you actually defeat Hot Potato challenge?

Hello.

Having real struggle with this one. It was fun & games, until I was getting to the Satan 4th time and losing fight on him (not to mention what I died around 6 times getting to it with BS mom & It lives fight). I am not sure if you can get pyromaniac or any bomb immunity in this challenge.

This is hell.

get some invincibility items, as well as contact/proximity damage.

My winning items were empty vessel and monstrance

Bomb synergies, something like Butt Bombs is a nearly guaranteed win. Candles or the Boomerang are also excellent and relatively common.

took me 2 runs to clear, first run died right before satan's door, to a adversary + the fallen fight, second run got a little carried by blood bombs, any contact damage upgrade and/or any bomb upgrades increases dps drastically, go for arcades, "infinite" use actives can delay explosions (blue/red candles, bob's rotten head, etc)

Using the bomb to skip rooms in womb and sheol helps a lot.
