The main changes are that it doesn't get better with Range, only with Shot Speed, and the big damage increase is removed.

Into the trash it goes then on all my tainted issac greedier mode runs.
Before the change, it doubled the player's damage. And it stayed bigger and went longer with Range up items, and they got and stayed bigger if you got something like Godhead or Sacred Heart. Now Proptosis actually makes both of those items worse, and not taking Proptosis is a better option, because only Shot Speed makes its range increase. It's got less range than the Number 2 Pee shot.
Wow, it's almost like the damage is no longer doubled, Range ups don't increase range, and it stays really short range no matter what you do.
But to you, if the moon is really bright outside, then you surmise it has to be daytime.
