I love Repentance and will keep playing it but I side with the bad reviews because I agree with them, I play despite the negatives not because of them and Edmund should listen. I hate item weight. I hate many nerfs (and most of the buffs aren't that good either), we were advertised new synergies but we won't see them soon. Edmund is not a saint, he is not doing his best.

Item weight is much better then the stupid "special items" system, and some of those items are powerful. Many of the nerfs don't even make the things go down a tier. Yes, Brimstone is weaker but it's still powerful and it can still be broken by synergies, especially with some of the new combos. It hasn't even budged, it's just not AS broken as before. I'll still take it every time, most other nerfs I've seen fall along the same lines. The only one I'm not a fan of is the Lost nerf.

I agree, the special item system was really janky and unnecessary. Item weight by itself is enough.
