Crossed trophee icon

Since years I can't do challenges. I have no mods and never cheated. Still I can unlock things via the regular games but I can't do any challenges. Help :'(

The symbol in challenges just means you can't get other unlocks not tied to completing the specific one while playing them. If you beat a challenge you'll still get the unlock for completing it.

I tried some times ago and it didn't show the challenge as beated and it didn't unlock anything. I'll try again to be certain

I'm fairly certain that the crossed trophy icon displayed in many challenges simply indicates that treasure rooms are disabled for that given challenge.

Nope, it means you can't unlock anything during challenges (except their reward, obviously).
Some challenges can have treasure rooms, and they still have that symbol.

Ok I'm really really stupid.
I did Computer savy challenge just now as it is the most easy and fast one early on (I just reset my 3 saves) and... it actually worked ffs.
Sorry about all this. I hope this will help the next guy who's wondering about this icon.
