Any tips to unlock forgotten?

I'm acctualy played something like 8 hours with azazel focusing to unlock The Forgotten, those hours were infernal, any tips to unlock him?

-Have decent speed stat to avoid feet and go fast
-Remember that Boss Rush is guaranteed with the broken shovel piece, so you don't have to rush in that regard
-Mentally weigh the pros and cons between clearing a floor for stuff and rushing to Boss Rush to end Mom's Feet
-Turn your volume up
-Make sure you're watching for shadows
-Speed is key
-Think fast
-Make peace with the fact that this unlock sucks
-NEVER EVER put down the broken shovel piece and leave without picking it back up
-Actively remember to explore the entire Dark Room
-If you're religious; pray
-If you're not religious; hope

I managed it with tainted Lilith the other day. Slower than azazel but far better at killing enemies quick without having to get up in their face.
Got lucky with Mitre in the 1st treasure room. Probably had something to do with it.

Tainted judas is also a good contender for the fast kill, speed and invincibility frames

If you are new in isaac game, let forgotten more later. Play and play runs, and when u think u can with it, try, I remember play with Azazel in my files. Is the best way, he can fly, and he es so fast . Good luck :D . Pd: REMEMBER DO BOSS RUSH .

You can use the broken shovel to stop the foot stomps for the current room you're into.

If you are in Repentance and have the Planetariums unlocked (getting 3 astrology items in one run), skip some items rooms if you find the boss room quickly, every skiped item room gives +20% chance to the base 1% chance to find a planetarium, and some of the planet item are extremly powerful (mercury would be the best case since it causes all normal doors to stay open, meaing you only have to clear rooms infront of shops, item rooms and bosses)
