item cap?

I was wondering if there is an item cap of sorts, i'm in a greed run and i have D-Infinity and i m using the D20 side of it and batteries to basically have infinite money/items as shown is this picture https://i.imgur.com/mr9VgZK.png but i noticed after picking up a lot of items some items that i picked up at the start of my run have been deleted from me. i had steam sale at the start but no longer have it (unless that has a limit on how many uses it has) but another item i noticed that doesn't work anymore was moms eye (chance to shoot eye out the back of my head)

TLDR: Is there an item cap that removes old items and replaces them with new items that are picked up

No, there is no item cap, and passive items that disappear from your mini-hud still affect your character.

I can only guess, but you might've used the D4 while using the D-Infinity, which rerolls all your items?

There is one, but it's most likely unrelated to your situation, since you need a certain character

Not sure what happened then, i had most of the items i had before so i don't think it was accidental D4 roll, maybe some synergy with a trinket i picked up that changed something on me thank you though :)

There isn't but having too many items (Like an obscene amount thanks to breaking the game) may crash your game if you quit an try to continue the run, forcing you to start another one.

It only happened to me like 3 times on AB+... It hasn't happened in repentance
