is it better with a controller?
I've been playing for a couple of hrs now and am really enjoying it, but I get the feeling the experience would be so much better with a controller.
Am I correct? should I go shell out the cash for a controller finally

honestly, it depends on how people play most games. So if you usually use controller, I'd recommend it. If you don't really like using controllers then you don't have to. It just depends on how people play.:trolol:

I mean I'm usually a mouse and keyboard kinda guy but I've never played a game where I use arrow keys to aim/shoot. that was generally what brung the idea around was that sole mechanic

The game is as good on keyboard as it is on controller, in my opinion

Works both ways. Some people like it much more on a controller (me, for example), some like it much more on keyboard.

You should buy a controller anyways because there *are* games that are a lot better with a controller, so why not just get one and try which you like more for Isaac?

It's really whatever you're more comfortable with. Like in my case I can't play Isaac worth a damn on controller.

+1 controller.

IMHO it is much better playing using a controller.

I think the advice most people have given has been solid; it depends on what you're used to using, and both have their merits.

For me, with my setup and proclivities, I prefer a controller for Isaac for sure; it gives movement speed and direction control, and the choice between face buttons and thumbstick for aiming tears is really quite effective depending on your run.

I think you'll get results of of whatever you choose OP, but I can definitely confirm for you that controller gamefeel won't let you down. :dip:
Just started using steam and was wondering if Ps4 controller works with Tboi on steam? Would like to know before buying. Thanks.

its the same, only cool thing controller have is good rumble, because this game uses rumble well, for example on the mom hearth fight the controller rumble synced with the heart beat of the mom heart its nice and cool, it speeds up during the fight and so on, other than that about gameplay its the same not better not worse.
