The save folders are located at C:\Users\*yourname*\Documents\My Games.
If you wanna sync unlocks made in Repentance which are also available in AB+, you can go into the stats-screen and press ALT+F2 to sync the game's unlocks with your Steam-achievements.
What it implies:
- if you uninstall Rep, you'll get your original AB+ save as it was at that moment. Any Rebirth/AB/AB+ progress you made on Repentance will not be ported back.
- likewise, if you play on AB+ for a while, any progress you'll make will not be ported to Repentance when you reinstall it.
There are very few ways to port unlocks from one version to another in this situation. The most efficient are:
- from Rep to AB+, using the debug console with the "achievement" command. It unlocks secrets directly, based on the number you specify ("achievement 58" unlocks that secret instantly, for example) - random number, I don't even know what it is). The downside is how long it could take, depending on the number of unlocks you have ot get back.
- from AB+ to Rep, pressing alt+f2 in the stats menu. This forces the game to read your Steam achievements and unlock things accordingly. The downside is visual inconsistencies: while the secrets are unlocked (meaning stuff can be generated during runs), the marks themselves are not (completion marks on character sheets, crossed out challenges...). Note that you could also do that from Rep to AB+ if you don't care about visual marks.
(And of course, if you had a 1.000.000% save when installing Repentance, those issues are completely irrelevant.)
Edit:
Those are backups, not the actual saves. The "real saves" the game uses are located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[some number]\250900\remote
Some little extra smarta**ing: "[some number]" is the user's AccountID (129949421 in OP's case). It's public information for some reason...welcome to the cyberpunk dystopia, i guess.
