Battery Bums are too greedy
Not exactly sure where to post feedback. But the title pretty much says it all. Those fricking Battery Bums are way too greedy in terms of Pedestal-Item Payout. I've had 4 Battery Bums now that gave me no Item after dumping over 80 cents into each of them. I know my RNG sucks in general, but this doesn't seem right. Since they can (and decently often will) pay out with Microbatteries, I suggest getting rid of the chance to add charge directly to your Active Item in favor of increasing the other Payout-Chances. As it currently stands, getting the Achievement/Secret related to Item-Payouts from Battery Bums is more of a chore than it needs to be (and yes, there is one in case you didn't know).

Yeah, and rotten beggars are the same, though they don't have an unlock (I think)
I want battery bums to be just as they are now, but with increased chance of getting a pedestal item. It's ridiculous. 80 cents and you don't get a pedestal item, and as you said you tried this multiple times too. I just got off from a round, where I also donated ALOT of coins to the bums. I even had 99 coins at the end of my run, with more to spare. I had teleport 2.0 when I tried this, and it was kinda nice that the battery bum didn't leave instantly, but still. No pedestal item seems a bit weird.

I have gotten one pedestal item from battery bums so far (that I can remember).

battery bums are more about charging your actives... And at least they give stuff when killed.

Rotten beggers are the bad one. Spend 80 cents to get what will all be gone after the next big room. And killing them is pointless.

Maybe a tiny buff would be logical. No need for them to not be greedy, cause they're already giving you a lot of charges which can be very good with a lot of items. On top of that, battery items are very good and can carry a run (if it's something like 4.5 volt).
But ♥♥♥♥ rotten beggars. Always blow them up if I need a little more devil deal %. Not good for anything else.

I'm glad battery beggars don't give out items too easily, because unlike most beggars, you want it to keep on giving his basic trade (a bit like the key beggar in a way).

I agree with rotten beggars

At least there needs to be some kind of logic behind how the Battery Beggars give out pedestal loot. There should be a maximum amount of coins to be given to any of the bums. I am pretty sure that if you managed to hand in 99 coins to a Battery Beggar, and he gave out the item and vanished, you would be done with him anyway.

As an example say you got Book of Revelation and you're at half a heart left before you die, but you got 99 coins. Then you could manage to use the bum to get yourself 12/12 hearts before he vanished. That would have been around 60 coins spent.

A bit like normal beggars feel like they're guaranteed to give an item after a time, it would be nice to have some certainty yeah

I mean, why do battery beggers need to disappear after paying out? Regular beggers I understand because they pay out so easy.
That is not a bad idea, but then he should also be able to give pedestals more than once, which makes more sense I think. I actually thought that was how you were going to get the achievement in the first place.

honestly, I don't mind. I don't give them my money if I don't have an active item
