I'm mostly talking about the people that are complaining about the difficulty increase of enemies and stuff like that, but you have a point

Blue Baby is harder then average compared to most characters.
When the occasion arise, get your hand on stuff that get you blue and black hearts more easily.
The Mitre, Death List, The Left Hand, Dark Bum and so on.
Also, because he can't have red heart, he have an easier time getting into challenge room and angel and devil rooms.
For the same reason he benefitiate a lot from items like the Polaroid, Empty Vessel and ♥♥♥♥♥ of Babylon.

That being said, if you have trouble with him, you can unlock stuff with other characters and challenges
and come back later when you have access to more stuff.

Blue Baby was always supposed to be a challenge character, but soul hearts were so common that people were removing their heart containers on purpose for other benefits. Now they aren't, and he's as hard as lacking red health was supposed to make him.

Really don't think he needs to be made stronger but he's definitely the most boring out of all the characters.

He cannot access challenge rooms anymore, plus he is actually the riskiest character to get into them as because he cannot just pick up the red hearts scattered around the floor and move on. Blue baby gets blue balled!

I don't understand why people say "???" He is a difficult character.
I mean, this character can't lose a pact chance with a demon / angel room.
And in general that he accumulates soul hearts instead of red is more of an advantage than a disadvantage.
It is true that the pacts with the devil are generally more expensive, but you know, now only the angel room is worth it.
