Been trying to unlock Tainted Lost for a while now (36 losing streak) and I finally got Gnawed Leaf and then 7 Seals on the same floor. Took a while to clear some rooms, especially the bosses, but I was able to get Box of Friends in the final shop before I fought Mom. No idea how long it took to kill The Beast because I just walked away from my PC for about half an hour and came back to him dead.

I can't complain. I honestly don't know how else you'd kill The Beast with The Lost. Even Dogma has some ridiculously difficult moves to dodge.

Neptunus, Kidney Stone, Perfection trinket, Ghost Pepper, The Stairway to get a slew of protective angel items, and a Book of Shadows did the trick for me.

Eh, atleast Dogma and the Beast have fair attacks that you can easily dodge after some learning. So it's not too hard to kill them as 2 hit characters, unlike sone other final bosses.

Yesterday I got lucky enough to get a no-hit win with T. Keeper, the harbingers lasted about 4-5 seconds each before melting to my dps. Involved tractor beam, marked, blue fires, electric tears and loads of dps, so that also seems possible, but it did take many retries to get there.

getting nine lives or plan c for beast works since losing lives during beast does not restart the fight.

I did die twice to dogma but after that I just plan c the beast to win.
