What I endorse is enjoyable gameplay, and this exploit is hardly enjoyable. While I'll agree that I wish a lot of things were not nerfed in this update, and that a single player game really shouldn't NEED nerfs to begin with, is the answer to this really going to be that you waste your time farming for ten extra items (which could be a complete waste as Eden's Blessing can start you off with a bad item)? If this is really what you think is needed in the game, then I have to ask why you're even playing the game at this point.
The spirit of the game (or if it suits you, the spirit of this game's challenge) lies in overcoming unfavorable odds through repetition, familiarity, and eventually...mastery. Choosing to use a wiki, platinumgod, Youtube, Reddit, or various other resources all lie in line with the game's *intended* experience.
As a paying consumer, you do have every right to experience your game in the way that you choose.
You do not, however, have the right to influence the *intended experience* of a medium by right of having an opinion.
Consumers (especially of Early Access games) are increasingly selfish and arrogant with their personalized demands now more than ever, and are frequently disconnected with the vision of the spirit of the product in question - in this instance, the game. It's saddening to see the number of people who leave unfavorable reviews or otherwise disparage Repentance that clearly and unashamedly skip through the content.
EDIT: I almost forgot, didn't want to doublepost before. @Tipisch this is why I've avoided playing dirty Cain (and Lazarus, tbh) until the dust settles. With all of the other, functional content to play with, I'm happy to wait on a couple of pieces until they work as intended.
