Any way to make the game easier?

I just bought it, but i can't even beat the caves. Any way to make it easier? Any mods?
No, i don't want a god mode, maybe something like adding 3 more health bars will do the trick. :P

You just got to get better. This game is all about improving your knowledge of the game each run. You can read up on beginner guides as well. Use this site to read up on what items do. https://platinumgod.co.uk/

With enough experience you should be able to win almost every run, regardless of RNG. You will look back on this post and laugh at how silly you were for thinking that the Caves were hard.

I don't know if your new to rougelikes, but you can't expect to win or even get very far on your first few tries, may not be what you want to hear, but you will get used to it eventually.

Mods are disabled for repentance right now, unless you don't have that.

Play on normal and take it slow. Even run with crappy items can teach you a lot.

I have just the base game with no dlcs. And i know what roguelike is, but i want to get further in the game, not to die after 10 mins and quit. :D So if i can buff my health with mods or something, that would be nice. (again, i don't want god mode)

I suggest trying BASMENT seed - you will be infinetely stuck in the first 2 levels - basement - that way you can get many items and get familiar with them

If you want to get further in the game, you need to improve your skills. Play the game and practice. You will get progress with enough experience and should be able to beat the first 3 areas relatively easy from then on.

Just keep playing it will get better :D
Learning what the enemies patterns are and what items you should or shouldn't take will help you a whole lot.

if more health is what u want just spawn 3 breakfast's using the developer console.
just remember to do your cheating in moderation or u wont learn anything

Right click BOI.
Disable DLC.
Verify integrity of files.
Play Afterbirth+.
