I mean, I like it, but I find it to be incredibly difficult. Might just be because I'm a bit tired, but I think the timer on the bomb is too short. Thoughts?

it was actually pretty easy (if you get used to the timer, you basically can bombskip every room) until I had to fight mom. spawning enemies and constantly having to throw a bomb just doesn't work together :/

I got spear of destiny from an angel deal on the womb and the run became significantly easier though. Since orbitals appear on the skull, you can deal more damage by throwing the bomb

I get that, but I'm having trouble with the fact that the timer is as short as it is.

maybe your game is running faster? I personally didn't find the timer that short - exploding every 3 seconds didn't seem that short for me

Maybe. I just feel it to be a bit fast because sometimes it takes a bit for me to get there and then I'm just a bit too close. I mosty back off though. I got better at the challenge and almost beat it. But then Nancy Bombs kept doing Brimstone Bombs and the game decided that it's technically not my bomb and so the brimstone laser hurt me. It killed me.

I'm not sure I even want to do challenges anymore. In my past save files I have always found them to be substantially worse experiences than the main game, with some challenges being borderline broken. I think the only challenge I kind of liked was the curse of the curse one, since it makes you think about every room transition you make. Even then, I am pretty sure that challenge can generate seeds that are flat out unwinnable.

Basically it's a sort of tarot card.

I'm fighting red mom. This is impossible haha. Rng as hell because the stomp attack and the bomb dont line up at all and red mom never does anything with the door so its a battle of atrition...

Certain items can break the challenge by giving you another source of damage, in my case I got Purgatory and prioritized using that over the yeet bomb. Bomb synergies such as Butt Bombs are also nearly an automatic win, and easily found shop items like the Boomerang and candles can also help immensely.

So it's not too bad, quite a few "out" items that aren't super rare. If you don't find any the challenge is pretty unfair, especially fights like Mom and It Lives.

try to get bomb items, get your secret rooms / super secret rooms, any "infinite use" active can temporarly disable the explosions (blue/red candle for example, as long as you hold the candle without firing the flame, the explosion stop). usual synergies with forgotten (monstrance, 120 volts) definitely can help
