Trap Door glitch during Isaac's Awakening challenge

I'm currently on the Isaac's Awakening challenge, and I just got to the Mines entrance, but the trap door that takes me to the Mines won't open so I'm stuck. Anyone else having this issue and is their anything I can do to pass?

Got to the end of Downpour II, beat the boss, and the trapdoor to the Mines just won't unlock. I tried: bombing it, lifting it using the bracelet (crazy, right?), no luck.

I just quit the game, tomorrow I'll start it over

Had the same issue; just went to get the knife piece and came back and it unlocked

I don't know why I have a feeling those having problems forget to go for knife pieces, which are mandatory for this challenge.

Hey, this happened to me and it was because I hadn't gotten the knife handle yet. Once I went into the mirror and picked that up the trapdoor opened.

It's not a glitch. You have to get all the knife pieces in order to unlock the trapdoor, like you would a ''normal'' Mother run. Just get all the knife pieces and your'e good to go!
