Why Lachryphagy and Huge Growth unlocking is so painful

I have 450 hours in Isaac and still wasn't lucky enough to stack that much stats in one run.

Repentance made it even harder because of increased Placebo charges for them.

And those unlocks are complitely random - it's not about skill, it's just about rerolling right items.
The only way is to grind Greed mode with Lax, but I've finished it few times already and still wasn't lucky enough to stack enough stats.

For Huge growth : Blank card + strengh (3 rooms charge)
Greed mode (full of money) --> play with azazel, press R until blank card inside the shop
Buy all the card you want to have strengh, spam the blank card, GG

For Lachryphagy : you should encounter at least 2-5 items that boost your tear rate in a full run (half the requirement) + some tears up pills
--> try having PHD, virgo or lucky foot (turn bad pills into good pills) and find some Vurp ! pills (if possible, keep vurp pill until you meet a tears up pill, you will have 2 tears up instantly)
If you are lucky, you can find the item Acid baby (drops a pill every 7 room cleared) and Little baggy (turn cards and rune into pills and allow you to carry two )
Don't know if it's better to try this in greed mode for the money, the infinite items (tears up for example) and the infinite pill you can buy or if it's better to do a classic run ?

U can add to that list marbles since u need to use gulp pill 5 times. I did Lachryphagy in greed mode with tainted cain. Was trying to unlock marbles so crafted few steam sales and bought pills in shop over and over until unlocked marbles and got Lachryphagy along the way.
