Dead God Achievement

I was just wondering if you needed to complete the Bestiary for this to unlock? I have collected all the items etc.

I believe you need:

1) All hard mode completion marks on all 34 characters
2) All items collected (on the collection page)
3) All other secrets unlocked (on the same save file)

A complete bestiary should not be necessary, since there is one entry in there that is impossible to obtain.

Apparently one of my challenges was reset (along with the steam achievement for that challenge), even though I had already completed it a while ago and found it's corresponding item. Not too surprising after seeing all the problems related to stuff being reset etc. Re did the challenge and the achievements for both Dead God and the challenge popped.

I have the same problem that Dead God cannot be unlocked correctly too. I am sure that all of my achievements are done as well as the collection of items. However Dead God doesn't appear.

Then do what above your post said. They said some got "reset" even of you unlocked it. Mabye above could say when one it was so you could try doing it...

No need to complete the bestiary, but you will need to touch every item, not just unlock them, this was my major problem to get the achievement

isnt there an unlock for completing the bestiary?
i think its just a pill but it would still be needed

Yes there is, and you need to complete it for Dead God.

The Bestiary will be counted as "completed" once you have amassed a certain number of unique encounters, one for each "?" in your Bestiary page.

There are a few monsters on the loose that are not listed in the Bestiary but still count towards its completion, giving you a teeny bit of breathing room by "standing in" for encounters that you are still missing on your Bestiary pages.

Just filling in on may 2024... Deadgod is still broken on the switch... Idk about PC. But a fix would be cool... Ive played without mods for 4 years on switch, an got infinity, but this damn achievement isn't unlocked an I hate it.
