car battery is stupid

i find it infiriating and disgusting that 45% of all active items don't work with the item that double all effect of active items even though MANY of them can get an effect out of it with a little imagenation

examples:
Abyss: makes 2 flies of the same item instead of one

Alabaster Box: gives a 50/50 chance that you get either 4 spirit hearts or 3 items (along side the normal effect)

Anima Sola: 2 enemies get stunned instead of one (allowing for more enemies to be stunned aside from dark esaw) if there is only one enemy double the time (to 10 second)

book of belial: 1.5x deal chance and damage gained from Book of Belial

Book of the dead: remove all white bonies and turn them into other skelefied enemies like:
Necro, clickety clack, big bony and pasties

bob's rotten head: bigger explosion and gas radius

the Bible: rare chance to shoot a holy light tears

the boomerand: always freeze on hit

the candle: bigger flame, can't exit the room

death certificet: will allow to take a 2nd item

Dad's key: unlock all things that need a key or room that needs a bomb to unlock when used

Decap attack: X2 times tears while the head is decapitated

Eden's soul: spawn 3 item pedestals instead of 2

Flush: bosses under a 1/5 of thier HP will turn into giant poop (example: singe with 88.8 HP or monstro with 50 HP will be able to turn into a giant poop pile)

free lemonade: covers the entire room like a house lemon party pill

forget me now: the floor you reset to have choices like tainted isaac

Golder razor: double the damage gained from using golden razor

Jar of flies: all flies from Jar of flies will have the hivemind effect

Kamekazi: mr. mega explosion when used instead of a normal one

Lemon misshap: increase the pool of lemon juice to the size of the normal free lemonade item

Noched axe: increase damage and range of the pickaxe

Mom's pad: fear induced in enemies for 8 seconds not 5

mom's bra: petrefies all enemies for 6 seconds

the poop: you have the petrefied poop effect, gives a chance to make rainbow, gold and black poops

Razor blade: gives 2.4 damage for the room

red candle: bigger flames, double damage

red key: higher chance for red key rooms to be item room shops devil deals and angel rooms

Shoop Da Woop!: bigger brimstone that does more damage

smelter: all trinkets will turn into golden trinket when consumed

telepathy for dummy: the homing effect will have the brain worm effect along side the spoon bender effect


and there are more that can be made, so it's Baffeling that car battery isn't as good as it should be

Good examples (even tho some of them op as f for 2 items combo), but never gonna happen, too much of a work.
Dev can't finish an update for a months, I doubt that we need an update for 1 item that probably will take a year to make.
Good idea for modders to do tho

As a matter of fact, actually, it does spawn two chains. Unfortuantely this has basically no use as it keeps the stun timer the same.
(Cancel one earlier, doesn't matter the other one will deplete as normal. Keep both, no additional time added, both deplete at the same time.)
