apollyon downpour

Looked up posts with the above title, cant seem to find anyone discussing.
Does apollyon get both items when using the void in downpour, mine, etc treasure rooms(which have 2 drops to choose from)?
I dont feel like i am getting both in general, but dont know the character well enough to tell.

No, this mechanic was changed in repentance. Now in the rooms with a choice you only suck 1 item at random. But you can also choose what item to suck if you pick it up and while holding it above your head use the void
Still works normal in a rooms where you can pick multiple items

Addendum: if you can Schoolbag your way into the Death Certificate area with Void, it will still absorb the whole room and even let you still pick up an item from one of the other rooms before it makes you leave.
