Bug: Apple! not influenced by luck?
Playing T. Lost right now and got Apple!
Got the Perfection Trinket with +10 Luck and am at 10 luck right now
Wiki says, with 14 luck the razors appear 100% of the time
When I shoot, roughly every 7th tear is a razor

Is this a bug?

It's likely that the curve is not linear. I don't know the details of Apple!, but i think that the last few luck ups toward 14 are the most impactful.

But with other items it works as intended. If you're missing one luck, you still get the effect 90%+ of the time.

Yeah I found the formula already. With 13 luck you still only have a 50% chance. The chance calculation is:

1:(15-luck)

So as soon as you have 14 luck, it's 1:1, which is 100%. With 13 luck it's 1:2, which is a 50% chance. That's why I wouldn't recommend apple! as a good item for t. Lost, since having 10 luck is still a very low chance.

1:(15-10) = x
1:5 = 0.2 (20% Chance)

At least not as a starter item. Ghost Pepper is a much better choice or Tough Love.
