Repentance launch
So there is 4 days left to release date and yet we do not have any information about price, possible delays or anything. Can we get an update? This year has been ♥♥♥♥ already, please do not keep us in suspense.

In a recent post during an ama (ask me anything) held by Edmund on Discord following the latest Steam blog-post update... What a maze to get the information... Well, point is, he said we should get a trailer with the release date some time during next week.

It is mentioned at the very bottom of this wiki page.

its also been said for months that that date is just a placeholder and not the "real date"

It's important to remember there's no "official" date of release yet.
It's a placeholder date.

It is confirmed that Rep is delayed until 2021 and that it's probably somewhere in April or June.

And IIRC it will cost about 14.99$

Better delay and be a amazing polished game than release it with alot of bugs, bugs ruins the fun......

And we know Ed would support the game with updates for a few months atleast after release.

So let's just wait a little longer.

Looking at past releases, it will be much delayed (wasn't the first release date something like summer 2019?) *and* buggy.

Maybe not, maybe the guys from Antibirth are able to actually do some good work in contrast to Nicalis (they did eventually fix the myriads of outstanding AB+ issues for them).

Don't get me wrong, obviously Isaac is great but its development has always been infuriating to follow. Not sure if they are incompetent or unwilling. Or maybe Ed left them such a bad code base that it's nearly impossible to work with.

Idk why they didnt just put soon as the release instead of a date like they did. Poor choice for a place holder.

think they had to put a date when they made the steam page for it

@Lucifer, they don't need to add a date. A lot of games have "COMING SOON" or something. Still, I think they should change the placeholder date now that it is confirmed that it won't be coming out yet.

It should be changed this week, once the real date is announced.

I doubt Q2 is true, if they want to give us a release date trailer this week.
The Renderer Dec 28, 2020 @ 1:08pm
If they already say Q2 now, you can expect end of next year wiith a high likelyhood of going into 2022.
