Just beat mom's leg for the first time.

I know that's not very far at all into the game, but I had an amazing run and was able to beat her for the first time. Pretty excited to see what the rest of the game holds.

I bet, I only wish it didnt make me make a new game when it did the cutscene. I wanted to keep going but the file wouldnt let me keep going on it.

soon you'll start hating that fight, 'cause it means that there wont be anymore shops or item rooms from that point on.

also the fact that once u beat moms foot, u cant exit the boss room from the door u came in.
so if u forget that ur on depths 2 & enter the boss before clearing the floor.
sure u can teleport out of there with telepills or cards, but most people usually end up using those to get free curse room exits.

once uve gotten rly far into the game u can get items that add shops & item rooms to the couple of the floors after moms foot, but i wouldnt rly count on finding those as them being pretty rare.

I just hope you didn't have any mod enabled when you killed her, otherwise it doesn't count (can't unlock anything if you use any mod before that kill).

Since you're a new player, keep in mind this:
List of things that prevent all kind of progress:
- Seeds (except a few special ones)
- Challenges (except for their reward obviously).
- Daily Runs.
- Reruns and Victory Laps (except for a few specific unlocks).
- Any active mod from the mod menu before Mom is killed once on that save (no matter what they do, other saves are irrelevant).
- Paranoid antivirus programs (or missing rights) preventing the game from creating/editing its save file.

Honestly why Boss Rush and going to ??? are really handy tools to slam dunk a run. Granted beating Hush generally means that your build is good enough to fight ??? or The Lamb, maybe even Mega Satan.
