Do unlocked items carry over between saves?
If i have unlocked an item on one save, and i switch to another save, will i still have that item unlocked, and be able to find it in game?

No. That's the very point of having different save files.

The only thing that carries between saves is "have you played the Daily today?". If you played the Daily on save 1, you won't be able to play it on save 2 and 3 for that day (except practice mode of course).
