Very annoying but I don't think it's run ending, just move on to the next floor.
I'm sure there's a mod that removes it anyway though, as I'm sure a lot of people agree with you.
You have curses that make the floor more difficult, which can be negligible if you're good at the game. You also have curses that add new, interesting dynamics to floors which can change the way you think and go about the standard things.
And then you have the curses which simply remove player's information. This is not an added challenge. It also doesn't add an interesting dynamic to gameplay. It's merely an added nuisance, which unlike challenge, is unhealthy for enjoyment.
Of course the Curse of Blindness isn't run ending or overwhelming, but if the player reactionary countermeasure like you say is to skip the floor, and in so doing are unable to experience the game's main point and most enjoyable thing, which is collecting items, that is really poor and bad game design! You don't remove a game's key component in the name of enrichment.
Also, thank you for the suggestion, there is a mod to remove curses in general, but none to solely remove Blindness. At least on workshop. That's unfortunate.
That's a Gamble. That's interesting, and it makes the game a bit harder.
