Debug console not working?

I have mods and my debug console doesnt open as it should, it worked a week ago but today i opened game and it looked like it would be disabled. I even tried to turn it on in Documents>My Games... (the way it used to be turned on before repentance opened to mods)

Even with mods, it's still how you're supposed to enable/disable it on Repentance. It is completely separated from mods now.
Make sure to edit the option files in the Repentance folder, others are completely ignored.

I just fixed this problem myself. There are actually TWO Repentance folders with VERY similar file paths.

The First one is:
C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/TheBindingofIsaacRebirth/Documents/My Games/Binding of Isaac Repentance

the "options.ini" is near the bottom.

The second one is VERY similar and is: This PC/Documents/My Games/ The Binding of Isaac Repentance.

there is ANOTHER "options.ini" there.

Mine worked after changing the settings in file path one but for the record I did change the options.ini in option 2 as well. Hope this helps.

i don't have a "documents" folder

There is no documents folder inside of TheBindingOfIsaacRebirth folder
