Tech X Missing since booster pack?
I started a new save file a while back and it just hit me that I somehow haven't seen Tech X one time yet, and have 60-70% of the game complete already. (Hard Hush/Mega Stan complete on 7 characters). Tried inputting a seed that had tech x in the first room, and it doesn't show up for me. There's not an unlock for the item I don't know about, is there? Doesn't show that it requires an unlock online.

I've gotten it with the forgotten, and I didn't get any notification reunlocking it, so I think you just aren't encountering it.

Due to items being added to the game, it is possible that the seed doesn't get you Tech X anymore.
Due to the high number of items in the game, the fastest way to check if Tech X is there would be to play a run with the D8/D100 and get as much items as possible while continually rerolling.
But you're probably just unlucky, similarly to how I have poor luck getting Dad's Ring recently. XD
