Methods for trinket searching?

So I'm sorta just checking things off my list of junk to unlock, and I was wondering if there was a relatively speedy way to find a trinket as early as possible in a run. Currently trying to get the Missing Poster to drop so I can unlock Lost.

And yes, Lamb has been killed. I just unlocked Forgotten the other day after a really gruelling run without explosion protection, he's hella fun to play, was totally worth it.

Mom's Box, Fortune Telling machines, stores. Those are your best bets in my opinion.

Grinding for the Lost can be tiring though. It might be better to "just play" and keep the Lost in mind in case you stumble upon the Missing Poster.

Just realized regular shops don't sell trinkets. Greed mode probably messed up my memory about that.

fun fact: in greed mode, if you have store credit, you can get every trinket for free, as if you use store credit to buy trinkets, you pick up the trinket the frame before the store credit goes away. sadly there are no sacrifice rooms in greed mode, just thought i'd share this
