How to press "R"?

I was using the mod "The true co-op" and when I entered game it said that I should press R to save & exit the settings, but I had pressed all buttons on my PS4 game pad and I had also adapted Xbox game pad mode, it still didn't make any difference. What should I do?

The equivalent to "R" on console is "pressing both joysticks" (when you want to restart a run). No idea if it works on PC using a controller (to either restart the run or using it in a menu).

You could just use your keyboard to get your settings right then switch back to your controller though.

I'd already tried that and the game did restart but the options screen still didn't exit. Anyway thanks for your reply.
