Rebirth: Defeated Mega Satan with Samson and does not appear in his Charachter

Hello!
I defeated Mega Satan (with Cursed Eye!!!) in Hard Mode and there is no symbol when I pick a charachter for a new game. The picture of Satan being defeated appears in the Save Game though... Did it not count?
I was hopping to receive something for defeating him... But just readed that achievements are only on DLCs.

Pure Rebirth, no expansion? Then everything's normal. The only thing related to Mega Satan is its ending, there's nothing else to unlock. No mark, no item, nothing. You don't even need to kill it as every character, once in total as anyone is enough towards the "game fully done" achievements.

And if you get expansions later, the game won't even remember who killed it already, you'll have to do it again.

Oh, okay. What an strange thing. I am sure about it being some kind of error that they decided not to solve. It is indeed pure Rebirth (I wanted to skip the consumist impuls as I saw the last bundle...)

if you ugrade to AB and AB+ you have to kill him again btw

Well, for what my opinion is worth, if you're planning of getting them later you should do it as soon as possible. That way, you'll unlock expansion content while progressing instead of getting a bunch of new things instantly. Feels better in my opinion.

The complete bundle, yeah! And in the first run I did kill Mega Satan with the same result: No symbol is appearing. But man, what a run full of new stuff!
