No achievements

So I have had afterbirth+ for a while now and I did not know you has to import your save. I did that and lost quite a bit of progress but that was ok. Now by me being an idiot I imported the save AGAIN and I was back to where I began so I got frustrated and decided to restart my entire run because I thought I was not getting any of the afterbirth+ features. Now I have killed mum and done the 'Slow Roll' challenge, I did not unlock anything whatsoever. The challenge is not crossed off either (and I am not using any mods). In my stats it says I have zero kills when, as if it isn't registering anything I do. Any help?

For what I understand, you play and your progress isn't saved, right?
Does it unlock and then, when you close and open the game, you have to start from 0 again? Or do you beat something and it doesn't unlock anything at all?

It unlocks nothing at all. I have played and got a few early-game achievements (if i would start a new save the items would popup and tell me I have unlocked the item, but without the steam achievement since I already got it). But after I restarted due to importing the save nothing counts at all. So yeah, it unlocks nothing. No new items, completed challenges, etc.

Are you using mods? They disable achievements for new save files till you beat mom's heart

Yeah but they are just UI changes and information for items (new characters but I was using issac). It says achievements are available to me and I cannot beat mum's heart without beating mum first.

You have to disable all mods, play normal till you beat moms heart. I think it's the heart, but maybe it's enought by beating the foot tho with no mods.
Just disable them and play some time without them
