The Real Platinum God save randomly appeared in the Steam Cloud?

It's been a year or two since I played last. I just picked up Afterbirth and got started, and my third slot had the Real Platinum God picture in it... but absolutely no gameplay stats attached to it. Naturally, I selected it, and now I'm sitting on a few achievements I genuinely have no idea why I have.

Is weird mutations of cloud saves a known issue, a bonus with the DLC, or just something deeply weird?

So this happened to me today, and I'd like to know too. It's bizzare and saddening (at least to me). So far this is the first and only place I've seen someone make mention of it. It's been in my three files for some time, but I ignored it thinking it was just amiss art. No stats aside from 90 unlocked secrets and a few unlocked characters (like ???). No items recorded, though.

I don't supposed you've figured it out after all the time that's passed?

What a sad. It might have been the DLC purchase, tbh. I thought it could have been the cloud, too. Can't think of anything else.

If nothing else, relating to that 10/10 comic lessened the blow!

the save import feature for afterbirth is terrible and can cause glitched saves. if you got achievements from that save and you want to remove them i recomend using Steam Achievement Manager, just make sure not to run it while playing a VAC secured game
