GB Bug is bugged?

On my save file, I have gotten all completion marks with all characters, including Forgotten and the Lost. I see that GB Bug is unlocked by killing Ultra Greedier as Eden, but I've already done that, yet when I check the achievements, it shows as not unlocked. Is there a way to make it "check" the completion and trigger the unlock or do I need to run it again?

If you already have the mark, then checking the secrets menu should update your Steam achievements (it should pop-up instantly).
If it doesn't, make sure you actually unlocked it, just in case. It's secret 201.

Odd, so I definitely have the completion mark in the character select screen, but in the secrets menu, 201 appears locked...

Eh, guess I'll run some greedier with Eden, then.

GB Bug is unlocked by beating Greed mode as Eden, not Greedier. Before the booster 5 update, beating Greedier mode did not unlock Greed mode rewards, you had to do both. That's probably why you have the Greedier mark without the Greed unlock. Not a bug, just outdated data.

According to this page (gamepedia page for GB Bug) it's unlocked by beating Ultra Greed, which as I understand it, is the second form of the final boss in Greedier mode, no?

In any case, it took about 3 attempts for me to get Lachryphagia + Monstro's Lung + Death's Head + Lump of Coal leading to massive scythes that stay in the air and just keep growing to ridiculous proportions as they wreck everything underneath them, so I've got it unlocked now, thanks!

Ultra Greed is the boss of both Greed mode and Greedier mode.
The second form of the Greed mode boss (the golden one), which only exists in Greedier Mode, is usually referred to as "Ultra Greedier". But technically it doesn't change its name in-game. ;-)
