I can't unlock character

I tried many time to unlock Eve. But after 2 levels I don't get my achievement. I first thought it was the fact that i didn't kill Mom. So I tried once again. I even managed to pass 2 levels without being hit so I should have unlocked Samson. I killed Mom and I get the same ending as the last time (it was the only time i manage to beat her). Maybe it's the fact I was offline or is it an other problem (I tried once again while online and my problem remains)

• Victory Laps
  
• Mods, until you beat Utero II once
  
• Daily runs
  
• Reruns (?) (It's technically seeded, idk though)

I also usually add "antivirus blocking the game", because it happened for some people. Quite rare though.

If I had to guess, I'd say OP either uses seeds or mods (in the mods menu, AB+ only) too soon. Those mistakes are very common for new players.

Special seeds (also known as "easter eggs") may or may not prevent unlocks, that depends on their effect.
Usually, special seeds that make the game easier prevent unlocks, and the ones that make the game harder or are purely cosmetic do not.

According to the wiki, CONF ETT1 does prevent unlocks (not surprising consideing its effect).
