Greed mode is not fun

Locking things behind a trash mode makes no sense, I dont play BoI to play a gamemode designed by someone that has no clue what fun even means...

In my opinion greed mode is very fun. It's a clever secondary gamemode that just offers another way to play. However, greedier mode is complete bullsh*t. I haven't been able to win a single greedier mode run without getting some sort of OP synergy that feels like cheating, i.e. my Isaac greedier win was only due to my getting Maw of the Void and using it on every enemy Ultra Greed spawned to get a bunch of black hearts. Not to mention, Ultra Greed's 2nd phase makes my computer lag.

Greed mode starts out very difficult until you get the hang of it, but it becomes a little to easy after a while, and it does get kind of boring. Greedier mode remedies that though, and at a 500 coin unlock, it's at about the place where it shouldn't be too boring yet. Well, maybe a bit (I'd have put greedier mode at maybe 350ish).

I almost prefer greed/greedier to the main game, it's super fun and greedier's final boss is miles more well designed than delirium could ever wish to be.

Greed mode is awesome. Greedier though....not really. So little money and more often than not the devil deals are red chest or back hearts or runes.

When I started my second save file I had the greed machine to like 1,000 in a few days or a week I think. The booster items weren't locked either and stuff like car battery + Mr.Me = tons of free items. I still don't have the d20 unlocked on that file.

I really enjoy Greed mode and breaking the game feels so much better on it. The only thing boring about it is fighting Ultra Greed, the final boss.

Ah. I actually don't like breaking it. It makes the run feel pointless to me, but it is handy for getting the more annoying unlocks if you don't feel like waiting around for them to turn up normally.

They probably did because without the armor, you could melt him in seconds with high damage like you can with mega satan, which is not actually something everyone finds satisfying to do.

Probably so ultra greed would have enough time to kill you? There have been a couple of runs where that boss was incredibly intense. The only times I'd call the fight boring is when I have an uber powerful setup.

I absolutely agree with you. It's tough boring and hard but it makes character who is designed to have no hp have holy mantle so i think that's worth it!
