no completion marks

Hey so i have a problem.
I bought afterbriths plus some days ago (when booster pack 5 released)
And becouse of this i deleted all save files to start from 0.
The problem is that i get no completion marks when i beat a boss :(
help pls c:

List of things which prevent all kind of progress:
- Seeds (except a few special ones)
- Challenges (except for their reward obviously).
- Daily Runs.
- Reruns and Victory Laps.
- Any active mod from the mod menu until the Heart is killed once (no matter what they do).

i used no seeds
no challenges
no daily run
no rerun
and no mod (i also have no mods installed, i dont use third party mods and i also dont follow any mod on the workshop)

Then make sure your game can actually edit its save file (writing permissions). Create an exception for the game in your antivirus. For some reason, some antivirus programs block the game from time to time. Latest update triggered their paranoia once again. Worth a try.

Which bosses have you tried beating?

A lot of people, often surprisingly experienced isaac players, are under the odd impression that the regular mom fight gives completion marks, but she does not.

True, we saw that a lot recently. Relatively I mean.

well on my old save i killed moms heart with multiple charakters.
But i have not tried to kill the heart on my new save, ill check this and add a permission to my antivirus. And thanks for the quick response !

Well, the Heart is the first boss to have a completion mark, so if you don't kill that one you just can't know if you get marks or not. :P

Edit: forgot about Boss Rush, but beating that before the Heart once is... rare. x)

...If you haven't been killing the heart, what marks were you trying to get? The only ones that you don't need to kill the heart for are boss rush and greed mode.... or I suppose you could go around her with "We Need to Go Deeper" or a rune.

well i tbh i hacked with cheat engine after deleting my saves everytime and did the boss rush. No mark for that.
I did a permission for the game on my antivirus and i have the boss rush mark now :D
so thanks a lot for the help !
