What's a good way to unlock Mystery Egg?

"Spawn three charmed enemies in the same room" There's not many items I know that spawn enemies, definitely not 3 in one room. Can it be done with Book of the Dead?

That's how I got it, in Greed mode actually. Completed all waves of a floor, then I activated the book. Happened on second try (first one gave me almost only bone familiars).

If you got the friend ball, you could catch something that spawn monsters themselves. For example, catching a baby long legs and spawning it in a room without hazards would hand over the achievement without trouble.

I've unlocked it after using Delirium item. And some other players did too.

I got it from those weird black maggot things. Sometimes, I just end up with 3 of them for no reason that I can tell. The only way I know of to make them is with the "my shadow" item, but I think they might come out of chests.


You can't do it with the pokey mans challenge. Challenges lock unlocks.

Me it just showed up during like my 2nd or third play through after downloading the booster pack

I just unlocked it, find a room with a lot of enemies (small poops, maggots, whatever I guess), kill everyone and use the book. If you're lucky you'll get at least 3 charmed corpses, the others will become orbitals.
Not sure if the previous charmed enemies count, if they're still alive - like, if you got 2 before and you get 1 in the current room.

My Shadow worked for me.
Book of the Dead, Friend Ball, Poke Go and Delirious would work but they're not as easy to find/use.

The new Book of the Dead makes this trivial. Just clear a large room full of enemies and use the book. If you don't get 3 skeletons to spawn at once just keep clearing rooms and try to keep 1-2 skeletons alive until you spawn the third.
