DROPPING ITEMS

[Butterfly Slayer]

Sometimes when i pick up an item the game takes it away from me, and if i pick it up again same thing happens
any help with this?

It is possible to hold two trinkets or consumable items at once, but you need specific items to do so.

Also you can hold only one card, pill or rune in your inventory

You can only carry one spacebar item, one trinket and one card/pill/rune at the same time.
There are items that can expand each of these slots to two, but no more. All of these items that can do this are found in the shop. Sometimes drops from boss rooms too.

i mean, i don't swap them, literally ihave no runes or cards equiped ipick one and i drop it

Happens if you hold control for a few seconds, it makes you drop all trinkets/cards/runes/pills you currently hold.
Check the controls menu, rebind it to anything else, try again. There might be a problem with your keyboard or something.
