Open debug console on Swedish Mac?

Okay, let's just make this quick and simple... I need help figuring this out...

Story:
Alright, let's see if I've got everything...
•Got AB+?  √
•Got mods enabled?   √
•Found the right key to press? √
Alright! So let's just get the console up and- Uh...? Is it not working? Why is it not working?

Long story short, I'm not the one to cheat in games but I wanted a save file where I could just mess around with the game, however... The console doesn't seem to open?
I dunno if it's an old thing or something that still exists but it would be nice to hear if it still works or not.
Let's explain a few things in case it's supposed to work.
I've got a MacBook Air with a Swedish keyboard so I've looked up what the "tilde" key is (it's apparently the key that has a ^ and ¨ ) and I've downloaded a random mod from the Steam workshop yet it won't work?
Again, I don't know if this is an old thing or if it still exists but I'd be very happy if someone could explain what's going on.

Therefore, not the right key. The key to press changes with each type of keyboard. Don't refer to non-Swedish specific key you could find on the Internet, try all of them until you find the right one.
For example, it's ~ for English ones, ù for French, ö for German, > for Italian... List of currently known keys on the wiki: https://bindingofisaacrebirth.gamepedia.com/Debug_Console (Swedish isn't there yet, unless it's the same as another).

Also, make sure the mod is actually enabled in the mod menu. Its name should be written in dark grey. If it's light, then it is installed, but not enabled.

well im swedish i aint on mac so might be diffrent but i open it with ö im pretty sure

Omg thanks! This explained a lot! I searched up the key earlier and it explained that the tilde key was the one that has ^ and ¨ on a Swedish keyboard but that apparently was wrong! I've found the key and it was < or > all along xD I should've just pressed all the buttons earlier! XDD
