trying any 32bits in my 64bits computer show a diferente message about some part of the dll thats incomplete, like "The procedure entry point ucrtbase.abort could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll", and any of the 64bits gets the 0xc000007b error, there some other solution?
That indicates that your Visual C++ is not installed correctly. If i should bet, i would say you are using windows 7. There is a bug what causes any updates using the "wusa.exe" (Windows update Service Application) are stuck, so you have to fix this issue first.
To Fix this, you have to install KB3172605, which also uses the wusa.exe. To get it installed anyway, please follow my workaround
- Go to your Control Panel -> Updates & Security -> Autamic Updates and Disable automatic Updates while this Workaround (not a must have, but it should speed up everything)
- download manually the following update for Windows: KB3172605
- if you try to install this, you will get a window where windows is looking for updates on the computer which you cannot close. It will not stop by itself.
- Open Task Manager, go to processes and click on "show processes for all users", sort by Memory Usage and stop the processes of the svchost.exe with the most Memory usage from top until your PC shortly freezes or your desktop is reloading. In most cases i fixed it was the the svchost with 2nd most Memory usage. It is also possible that your Windows Style will look old.
- Now switch to the Application Tab of your Task Manager and look for something what called windows update or something similar and close it (it should be the installation program of the KB3172605)
- switch back to processes -> All users and look for the task wusa.exe and stop it too.
- go back to your downloads and try to install KB3172605 again, now it should work, if you get a error that your windows is not compatible, download and install KB3020369 and try again, at least it should work. Reboot your Computer now!
- Now locate your isaac Folder and open the Folder "_CommonRedist", "vcredist" and "2015" and start vc_redist.x64 or x86, depending on the Architecture of your System. Choose either install or repair and wait until the setup is done i may take a few minutes.
- now you can re-activate the automatic Updates for Windows again.
- isaac should work now
i was trying to do this, but i'm also stuck on the W7SP1 update, for some reason my computer is not updating, and if i get it done, i probable would't have a problem
D:\AfterbirthPlus\VCRUNTIME140.dll"
i copied the file from "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\" and says terminate instead of abort
