Question about Afterbirth+ DLC

I have Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, but not the Afterbith DLC. Do I need to buy Afterbirth and Afterbirth+ to have everything? Or do I just need to buy Afterbirth+? Thanks!

You need afterbirth and afterbirth+ to have all of rebirth's content DLC, but you can purchase Afterbirth+ as a standalone DLC.

If you have Afterbirth you get a discount in the first week. Otherwise you have to buy afterbirth plus full price. You do not need afterbirth for the dlcs to work.

No, they didn't. They apecifically said that it wouild not be free.

Pretty sure this is incorrect. Maybe this has changed, but on a post on the rebirth update site a year ago, it is specifically stated that you MUST have afterbirth for afterbirth+ to work.

Because it's a DLC that requires Afterbirth to work. "More for Afterbirth" -> "Afterbirth+".

you dont need afterbirth to play AB+
you just need rebirth.

You're going to need both. What part of that + don't you guys get? As for a free thing? It's going to cost money for the DLC. What's so hard about this?

According to Steam store you only need Rebirth however the developers said you will need both... that is why there is all this confusion.
