Either way, the glowing hourglass method isn't the most efficient one, by far. Complete Greed mode with each character twice (once for each, then once again) and the machine will be mostly filled already. Farming with one or two characters is the worst way to do it.
How does it make a difference if you farm with multiple character or just with 1?, I already beat greed mode with every character,
But if you want to donate only one or two cents on each win instead of 50 or so, that's up to you. :P
