Game Crashing with Afterbirth+ -Fixing Vcruntime Error

In the event that other methods (verify cache integrity, changing Enablemods to 0, etc..) have not worked to fix your version of Isaac, here's another thing to try.

1. Go to the Steam Library and right click on the Binding of Isaac game and select Properties.
   
2. Go to the Local Files tab, and select Browse Local Files.
   
3. Once in the main folder, double click on isaac-ng.exe. This will tell you what error is preventing the game from loading.
   
4. If the error is that the file vcruntime140.dll is missing, click on the file _CommonRedist. Inside will be vcredist, then 2015.
   
5. Inside of 2015 will be 5 files. Click on and run vc_redist.x86.exe and vc_redist.x64.exe. This will install the missing vcruntime files.
   
6. If the game still doesn't work, try running the Microsoft Visual C++ files in the same folder.

Hopefully these steps will help those who are still having trouble with running the game.

Unfortunately this still didn't help my game. On windows 10 with 64-bit. Have an Nvidia gtx970. Direct x version is 12. Never installed any mods onto the game.

I still receive the same error

Microsoft visual C++ runtime library
Runtime error!
Programs:... Isaac-no.exe

The gam works if afterbirth + Dlc is unticked but I really want it to work!

If anyone has any other suggestions it would be amazing. Over 120 hours lost otherwise!
