I started an eden run. He started with epic fetus and the clicker. I'm like cool I can switch to a worse character and knock something out.

Hit clicker, takes away epic fetus as soon as i'm not eden. If its going to do that....Then at least give my now cain his luck foot for consistency.

I have only transformed into cain, lilith, judas, isaac. My first transformation it took epic fetus. I have every character unlocked.

Since the Clicker removes the last item collected, it is wise to use it after picking up an unwanted item.

There is an inconsistency, indeed. But two out those three lines refer to the same version, the one you didn't want to read and met in-game. The middle one is clearly wrong, as you faced the fact.
Want to rant at something? The only good option is the wiki page because it kept a wrong information for that long.
I just removed that line, no need to keep that wrong information any longer.

Clicker's effect doesn't care about starting items, at all. ;-)

"all available characters" means as in the ones you have unlocked through game progression, not each one in one run.

I'd assume because he figured Epic Fetus was a free win and wanted to get to a new character to win with and drop the clicker ASAP for a new active while also getting the most charges from rooms in case he got a character he didn't want (make it to the bad character faster).

Of course had he known it woulda sucked up the epic fetus, he would have waited =P

Because this thread is from january when not even sites knew that the clicker always took an item. And people came here to quote information from sites that didn't exist then.
