How do I enable workshop mods?
I downloaded some mods, but none work. Is there a way to enable them?

Did you actually enable them in the mods menu?

No, I cant find it

Sounds like you don't own the expansion. You need that to use the workshop mods.

If you mean Afterbirth, then yes, I do. If not, what expansion are you talking about?

Afterbirth+. The second expansion. It's a bit hard to find, use the search option of the Steam shop.

Afterbirth+. Another expansion which requires Afterbirth to work.
The workshop is only for AB+ and its mod menu.

Hey so is it required to have all DLC for the mods to work? Because I've noticed that some mods say you need DLC and others do not. However it still doesn't work even when using mods that don't apparently say need DLC.

As long as the mod uses LUA coding, AB+ is required.

If modders put non-AB+ mods on the workshop and don't explain properly how to install them, it's their problem.
If the explanation is actually here and the player doesn't read it, it's their problem.

Anyway, to be sure, if you consider modding on Rebirth/Afterbirth, moddingofisaac.com is the place to go. Make sure you read the help page.

To add on to what Nazemec said, you can use various mods from the workshop with Rebirth and Afterbirth.

The mods are saved to:

C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\250900

Copy the contents (you don't need to copy the file named metadata), and paste into your resources folder, like you would do for manually installing any other mod. Check some of the mods on the website Nazemec listed for detailed instructions on how to install mods. It's the same for pretty much every mod.

They ask you to login using your Steam account to check if you actually own the game. Hacked versions aren't welcome there. It's safe.
