The Void "chance" is BullCrap
I've played a few runs with different characters and rarely see the portal to the void open for Delirium and I feel it needs to be increased in % or just 100% in total in the chest and mega satan. Got all the way to ??? with The Lost only to have no portal open and make my Delirium run pointless....we ALL know how hard The Lost runs are and for there to be nothing at the end, not even a chance to try and see if I'll beat him....that's bullcrap.

I thought Hush was a guarenteed portal.

I may be ♥♥♥♥ talking since I'm doing Greedier unlocks, but eh.

I just make sure I make it to Hush if I wanna go to the Void.

The RNG aspect might be fun after unlocking everything. But before that, just gonna Hush it up.

Hush is a 100% portal, Mom is a 5%, It Lives is 10%, ISaac/Satan is 15%, ???/Lamb is 20% and Mega Satan is 50%. Id say the odds are really well balanced. If you are going to fight Delirium, you better be good enough to kill Hush or be able to routinly reach the final stages. Otherwise Delirium will kick your ass as the lost

I've seen the Void portal in the It Lives room and I got teleported straight to Void right after the Mom fight once, but I think the odds are really, REALLY low.

If you want to guarintee the Void chapter, you have to beat Hush. That's the only way to get it every time. BTW, the portal itself doesn't appear in the Hush room. You get a door at the top right that leads to the portal room.

But the first Hush run with The Lost was bad enough, trying to rush with The Lost is not a good idea. I know Hust is 100% but why force us to play the easier boss of Delirium and rush through the game just to get to the other content.

Personally I hate the feeling of needing to rush through something to get an achievement but you make so with boss rush and Hush. Adding ANOTHER floor AND boss that is a "random chance" or rushing through the game again seems stupid. Boss rush is one room and fighting, Hush is basically one room and fighting, Delirium and the void is a HUGE floor with multiple possible bosses and a main boss at the end. It'd be the same as the chest but if you didn't know if after the cathedral or sheol you didn't know if you'd get entrance to the chest.

Dude, Hush is 30 mins!

If you're taking longer than 30 minutes, you're spending way too much time admiring the textures along the way.

Either fight hush or just enjoy playing isaac and it'll happen. You don't need to 100 percent the game as soon as you get it.

Most games as the lost I am at It Lives by 23 minutes. Not sure how others play him, but I bum rush as him. Playing hyper agressive, while at first gave me a lot of trouble, now I rarely lose a run as long as I don't do stupid things like going for Hush when underpowered.

30 minutes, even as Maggy, the weakest character, is way more than enough time to rech Hush.

Maggy isn't the weakest character. She even starts with a speed up pill now.

Correction. She starts with a Speed Up pill after beating the Aprils Fool challenge.

Which isn't a challenge at all. Start on an Extra large floor, find golden heart before first boss and be unkillable.

I still feel like she is really REALLY lacking comapred to the others. She has weak damage, lackluster range, while her speed is ok now, her only real trade off is extra health and a healing item. Which if you are good at the game, isn't needed because you either will already have hearts on the ground, or won't be getting hit at all.

Even Laz, the character I see as next weekest, got a massive buff through starting with Anemic, and having it perma-proced on Revived Laz.

An extra heart for another devil deal, more demon judgement payout.

Also Laz is a strong character. Hold R until you start with hp up/tears up/48 hour energy/I'm drowsy. Then you get a free revive as well and a good Known pill for the rest of the run.

A bad character is blue baby.

??? is a challnage character, he isn't meant to be compared to say Isaac in terms of pure playability. I until this Anemic update for Laz, I felt he was really weak. Normal damage, low range, and not none, but NEGATIVE luck. If I played Laz, first thing I did before all else was kill myself. The stats up and increase item drop was more than worth losing an extra life.

As for Maggy, I don't like Devil deals unless they are very good(Pact, Brimstone, Mega Blast, Contract, or Guppy if it feels like I can get the full transformation that run). I generally prefer Angel items, or getting devil items through cursed rooms. I take them as the Lost though, he needs them and has no downsides to taking them
Rio Jan 11, 2017 @ 10:46am
Sure you can kill yourself right away for the luck up on floor 1/2. Or you can wait and snag a devil deal or two for free. It depends on what you want more, consumables or more devil deals.

Liking angel deals over devil is not that common. Many of them are bad or you just get soul hearts, Plus theres no angel beggers.
