i also went int oa secret room with like 30 mushrooms and 3 ofthem had pills ( i had epic fetus so i blew them all up ) the fly didnt show me any of them, despite the wiki saying she would

I had it hovering on a normal door, at first I tought it was trying to show me the way to the boss but that was not the case that door just led to a dead end.

The fairy hovers over spaces where a crawl space would be if a rock was generated there. It doesn't matter if a rock is actually on that spot or not, so sometimes it shows holes, spikes, or other things. Pointlessly, of course.
