Game crashing when taking damage
Currently in scarred womb 2 as Azazel, and whenever I take damage, may that be from, exiting a cursed room, or touching radioactive poop, my game freezes, and hard crashes. What is causing this? is my run just over?

I've got the same problem, but I'm in the chest with Isaac, what was the last item you grabbed?
I've got a theory on what the problem might be, but confirmation that its a game problem rather than a computer problem is appreciated

I have the same issue. I was on womb xl, playing apollyon, game suddenly crashed for no apparent reason. Restarted the game and tried to continue the run. After that, any damage I take the game crashes.

As for this, the last item i picked up was the negative.

Wait a second, do you have any red heart containers? Perhaps its a problem with multiple on-hit effects at once, since mine also has the black bean.

It's possible that it has something to do with a certain item or multiple items that give an affect after taking damage. With all the bugs, I wouldn't put it past it.

perhaps the best advice is to wait a few hours for the incoming patch and try again?

The only item I have with an affect upon taking damage is the negative and since I have 1 red heart, it shouldn't be activating.

Latest one I picked up was meat from the fight before. It seems that, anythin g after mom is in danger of crashing.

I think I may have figured it out, did any of you have the wishbone trinket? My game was crashing when I tried to go over some spikes to get to a devil deal, and it stopped happening when I decided to take some damage to break the wishbone for the item drop
