Greedier is NOT worth it

There is nothing worth getting from there, nothing is worth the madness that ensues TRYING to get down to fight Uber Greed, and if you do make it, not even 40+ damage, ~3 tear rate and full orbitals will save your ass or get you through it.

Even worse when attempting as Keeper and Lost...

I had the Shears once before and you can use it multiple times during a floor, but my god, the game goes after you if you have any item of value. I swear, it is programmed to detect certain items and then Zerg rush you down.

Other than gnawed leaf+passive damage, I'm pretty sure it's impossible as the lost. Pretty impressive that they managed to make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ greed mode.

Agreed. Greed can be fun as the normal class, but Greedier is just...madness.

Just failed on ultra greed form 2 with samson guppy. The fights a world of difference without pyromania like I had on my issaac run.

The yellow brimestones kept locking me to places where I'd get hit by explosions.

just beat greedier as the keeper, just be extremely conservative about the coins on the ground, then you'll have a good supply of heals.

Greedmode is still rather easy, greedier or not. However, a greed-run either pops off and you become god (or break the game - Blank Card, Steam Sale and D20 are still there) or you loose. There's no inbetween, which is kinda sad.

It will also benefit from the re-balance patch that's supposed to drop soon™. Less Stoneys, less portals, Sisters Vis nerf, some boss fights hopefully going back to the floor they actually belong to, etc.

Greedier Ultra Greed is fine. In fact, you're pretty much safe, when camping a corner during his 2nd phase. Just move to a different corner, when greed does his jump-attack or closes in to you.

wow...I just beat greed with apollo. I walked in with god head and stuff. He got my hp to nothing so on start of form two I used the D4 I had with me to hope for the best.

Got .90 speed, 8 tear delay, 4.08 damage, 0 luck. My hp after the roll was 1 red heart that was empty and 1 soul heart. Meaning I could only take 2 or 3 hits.

Just beat it for the first time on Lilith. Honestly, the last form wasn't so bad after all. Had guppy transformation and maxed out spirit hearts; beyond that, a double charge on her active. I didn't take too many hits on the boss.

With that said, the prior floors in greedier mode could use some balancing. You just get overwhelmed with spawns, and unless you get carried by items with massive clearing power (ala praying to RNG), you won't get anywhere.

Funny enough my eden just got pyromania on caves greed. So I just need to survive until greed and its a done deal again.

edit nvm, never got a damage upgrade and champio mega maw + 2x champion montsro got me. was the bullet hell version of mega.


Also the pill baby can be pretty good on greed mode. It was giving me pills left and right and making when I take a pill doing things like poison the room.
