Do Belly Button and Mom's Purse stack?

Has anyone ever gotten Mom's Purse and Belly Button at the same time before? Does it allow you to hold 3 trinkets at once? Because if that's the case, then you could have 3 Locusts and just decimate any normal room you go into. Or just maximize tear efficiency with Cancer, Curved Horn and Tape Worm. Oh, the possibilities!

If you want more than 2 trinkets you want the smelter or a whole load of gulp pills - these destroy trinkets and permanently apply their effects to the character, removing the absorbed trinkets from the item pool. There's no limit at all this way - in theory you could have literally all trinkets working at once if you could manage to find them all.

Btw, guppy's head with fish tail and conquest locust is arguably better than any 3 locusts as blue flies deal the same damage as most of the locusts do and fish tail doubles the amount created - you can end up with literally hordes of them in no time, especially if you combine with certain battery items to let you use the head more frequently. Void can also absorb both the head and smelter to let you abuse the hell out of attack flies/locusts even more.
